Infamy?

Yes! - I have been on the flipping Telly.

There are many people, who through no fault of their own cannot get out to watch me perform in our wonderful British Climate.

It is only right that modern technology be harnessed that I can be beamed into their homes so they too can enjoy my wonderful self.

Only by appearing on Telly can any half indecent wannabe achieve any form of spiritual fulfilment.

Have you been on the Telly?

Thats what all the kids want to know. So here it is. Just to prove that I am a real and genuine jester, here are a few of the television shows I have appeared on over the years.

I have found many Television companies expecting me to fall over myself for "Exposure."

I am happy to get "Exposure" under the right circumstances, but people DIE of EXPOSURE!

Most TV appearences involve a donation to charity and only a couple have led to my being paid personally.

On day my break will come! One Day!

CNN

"The Return of the Jester."

CNN made this film about me in 1997. It's hilarious, portraying myself as a very poor fool indeed. If you click on the picture you can go to their archive. If you can make the film work please let me know how. I enjoyed being filmed by them very much, and of course CNN goes out all over the world.

GMTV

This is the first time we have ever appeared on TV with somebody so famous that even my wife and kids knew who they were: Richard Arnold. If anybody could persuade us to get up at 4am and be ready for a beach party at 6 in the morning it would have to be Richard Arnold. Jamie, Andy and Myself had a ball and they even gave us breakfast. We were upstaged by a wonderful little girl with a hula hoop.

L!VE TV

My first television appearence was on "Stand Up L!VE." Anybody who thought they were slightly funny could appear - if they were really desperate to be on the Telly. Well I was desperate. So in 1995 I went to Canary Wharf and performed in front of a live studio audience of at least 6 other desperate comedians. They even gave me a tape to take home.

"The Pier" 1997

"Songs of Praise." 1998

"The Flying Vicar." Sky News and HTV and Meridian News Feb 1999

"European Jester of the Year." Meridian Tonight - Jan 2000

Sylvester the Jester from Leicester

In March 2000 The National Guild of Jesters rode through the streets of Jester proclaiming the installation of Sylvester in his bid to cheer up the East Midlands. This short film was shown on the regional round up early that evening.

Jamie the Fool from Poole

When Jamie was only 14 he became the youngest ever member of The National Guild of Jesters. Obviously, the local TV crews wanted to watch this one.

"The Buskers Protest." - Meridian 2002

"Juggling Expands the Brain." - Meridian January 2004

"The Salon" - Channel 4 Feb 2004

St Georges Day - ITN News Every bulletin 23 April 2004

St Georges Day - Channel 5 News 23 April 2004

"All the Fun of the Fair." - ITV July 2005.

"The Fool Factor." - Border/Granada June 2005

Spire FM

I often contribute to many radio shows. I won't mention them all but I will thank "Spire FM" who have supported many charitable events and supported myself as City Jester on many occassions. It is always a privilage to contribute to them.

Richard Vobes Radio Show

I often contribute to this mad mans radio show.
I suggest you listen at....

I should also thank "The Salisbury Journal." And their marvellous team of photographers who have taken some brilliant shots of me over the last few years.
