Stuart Ashman
Stuart is a legend in the juggling world. In fact it is partly his fault that so
many people can juggle better than I.
If you read the memoirs of Contemporary Jugglers,
they all help perpetuate the legend of Stuart. Stuart is funny. Stuart is lovely. Stuart
is a giant among jesters. Oh and he used to edit a magazine called "The Catch!"
|
|
|
John Caudrey
This is John. It's a brilliant picture and you can only see the back of him.
That's how good he is. He can pose with his back to you.
John was the guy that made me want to learn tall unicycling. John is one of the finest jugglers
with a superb and sublime understated wit that shall endear you greatly.

Tamara Eastman
Tamara is an authoress who recently travelled from Virginia in the USA to spend time with us in the
Guild. We had a fun day out in Salisbury and she stayed in a haunted room at Muncaster Castle while she
was here. Here she is trying to stop me from falling over.
|
|
|
Jake the Jester
Steve Kliski is a brilliant act. In Jun 2005 he caused a real headache for judges
at Muncaster Castle, he was as good as Jem and it was a hairs breadth decision. Jake is without
doubt one of the jolliest and funniest men since Tommy Cooper. He is also a consumate magician
and a bit of a Stand Up as well.
|
|
|

Dee to Shop assistant: "Excuse me sir, have you any of these washing up gloves in another colour?"
Shop Assistant: "Why Sir - Did you want them for evening wear?"

Mr Merlin
This Marvellous Scorcery gets around by Organic Magical Means. Hunky Dory is a free range Dragon and
his droppings are now disposed of in accordance with all UN agreements on Nuclear Waste.
Of Course, Okey Dokey
is a law unto himself but is still available for Childrens Parties. The bloke in the pointy hat is quite funny as well.

|
Louise Lear Jones
Louise Lear is her own fool and an awesome ringmistress
Louise is the first lady to become a full member of the National Guild of Jesters.
And she probably had to travel further than anyone else to get to Muncaster.
Raised in the circus, Louise is now a proud mother of two. The youngest is a natural
escapologist (no cot is strong enough to keep her caged) and the eldest is sharp
wit too.
If you go to her website you can read her fantastic poem: "There's a space ship on our Car Park Mam!"

Uncle Cranky
Joel Dickenson is an amazing multitalented young man with a great future ahead of him. His ability
to try new things and pull them off spontaneously is just the tip of the ice berg. I worked with him
in Glasgow and he exceeded my expectations.
His prestidigitation is masterful, his drawling delivery is eccentric and enchanting.

|
|
Pixie
One of the youngest members of the guild. Pauline may be young with a lot to learn but with balloon modelling, tight rope walking, stilts and magic in her
young reportoire she has a lot to offer for the future.
